1. What did I do today?

Today, I have worked on the literature review findings PowerPoint Presentations, look into some details of the previously reviewed papers and search for new papers related to the literature. Also, I have met Oliver at 9 PM, created the blog and discussed with him more details about how and what I should post.

2. What did I find interesting? 

Most of the papers I read about molecular simulation were interesting because each paper is using different software, but it was hard/time consuming to understand some details about the molecular simulation. Also, I have noticed that the most used software for surfactant simulation is CMG STARS or CMG GEM so I think if we going toward simulation data that will be our call. Also, I found no application of the Machine learning in the Surfactant EOR, so if we found a way to develop a model to predict the surfactant performance based on experimental data that would be breakthrough. 

Below is a table with the data we should have to predict the surfactant performance which can be quantified as the targets.

 

3. What I will do next?  

I will continue working on the findings PowerPoint presentation to discuss it on Wednesday's meeting, I will try to collect as many actual experimental data as possible to see if we can work with it rather than simulate new data. Also, I will search for new papers related to the literature.
