Daily Update - Mohammad Elkady - (July-21-2022)

1.  What did I do today?

I did the sensitivity analysis for the model and some modifications to the model itself.

2.  What did I find interesting/Work on? 

I did a sensitivity analysis for fracture width, fracture permeability, matrix permeability, Natural fractures permeability, and natural fracture porosity.

As we see the actual field data is very different from the different simulation runs so we have to modify the model itself to account for the water production.

Instead of using 24 layers, we cut several layers from the top of the model and used only 13 layers with the horizontal well in layer 9, also we included the water saturation in each layer.

3.  What will I do next? 

Next, I will run the new model to see how the results will change and I will repeat the sensitivity analysis to get to the history matching.
