1.  What did I do today?

I created another base case for Aramco iFDP project.

2.  What did I find interesting/Work on?

I created a new base model for Aramco Project. This model has 200x28x20 grid blocks. Each grid block is 50ft by 50 ft by 5ft (L, W and H).

After the discussion with the Aramco team, they suggested the following:

-       The whole reservoir should be penetrated by the well and the hydraulic fractures (around 25 frac)

-       The porosity should be normally distributed within the selected range

-       Permeability and water saturation should be correlations of the porosity.

-       We will use a fixed BHP of 400 or 600 psi and Maximum flow rate of 4 MMScf

-       Depth of the well is 10,000 with reservoir pressure of 0.4*10,000 psi.

-       The system should be Wet gas on a black oil model and the dew point shouldn’t be too far from the initial pressure.

 

3.  What will I do next? 

Next, I will implement all the Aramco team’s notes into the model in addition to Dr. Misra suggestions about generating an array of properties first and produce the first three realizations.
