Daily Update - Mohammad Elkady - (Sept-21-2022)

1.  What did I do today?

I developed a linear correlation for the porosity vs Permeability and water saturation

2.  What did I find interesting/Work on?

Today, I developed a correlation between the porosity and log permeability for the UL Permian Data. The data indicated an approximate linear relationship.

Also, I add noise to the linear correlation to mitigate the co-linearity issue when we deal with the compression.

For the water saturation, there is no obvious trend between the porosity and water saturation. So, instead we developed a linear relation between the two of them and added noise to it as well.

3.  What will I do next? 

Next, I will generate the property files and start the simulation.
